Art and philosophy. There’s no question that every artist has their own philosophy of the world: how they see it, what is beauty or truth and how they choose to communicate that for the rest of the world to see.
I have always been drawn to the romanticism of art and life. Deep, rich colours and mood, for me, have depicted the passion of living.
When I am looking at and shooting something or someone I, in some respect, have to fall in love with my subject in order to fully appreciate what makes them unique. It’s not to say that photography is just about love or affection, instead it’s about the exploration of perception and uniquity.
